Event Experience
The Project
OceanSpray was hosting an annual bog event. This event was targeted towards a younger age demographic hosting their first Thanksgiving party. The ask of myself and my team at Arnold was to create a unique brand experience to pair with OceanSpray’s traveling cranberry bog. I was tasked with developing an event identity and visual system that included branding, event signage, promotional materials and social media posts. I also supported in pitching different event activities.
Branding/Logo
Arriving to THE Event Identity
The idea was to have various engagement stations to help assist first time hosts how to navigate the ins and outs of throwing a great Thanksgiving party. The goal with these stations were to provide easy achievable steps to achieve a great party. The hope was this event would reflect the experience of calling up your grandmother for advice on how she has hosted her Thanksgivings. We pitched a range of event names to client and landed on CranMa’s Thanksgiving Bootcamp. After several rounds of iterations I arrived to the event identity above. I incorporated OceanSpray’s branding by including their brand fonts, logo and cranberry red. I broke away from the branding by introducing Fall themed colors, to promote contrast and sophistication to the event. The above visual mark is what client loved. With those choices approved I was then able to apply the visual system to the rest of the content required for this ask. That included station and event signage and social media filters, shown below.

The Event
The Spectacular Day in the middle of NYC’s Times Square.
On a beautiful fall day the special OceanSpray Bog Event went off without a hitch. Signs were delivered on time and the stations set.
It was extremely rewarding to experience the completed end result of all the creative hard work.
